Sponsorship/Donations

This year you have the opportunity to join a proven winner. As a 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization, we are seeking sponsorship/donations from various businesses in our communities. This assistance is in the form of tax deductible donations.

The Woodland Park Hockey Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and encouragement of amateur hockey for Woodland Park and the greater Teller County area. WPHA is working in conjunction with the City of Woodland Park Parks and Recreation Department to further develop the hockey programs and ice rink at Meadow Wood Sports Complex.

WPHA is seeking donations for our short and long-term goals as well as funds required to keep our program moving forward. We understand that some businesses cannot give cash donations so we are planning future fundraiser's and will post these events on our web site as they become available. WPHA would welcome donated goods or services which can be raffled or auctioned to benefit our cause. Please Contact Fundraising Director – Gina Taranto Gina.Taranto@coloradocollege.edu

Woodland Park Hockey Association needs Coaches

As we move forward into our second year, there are a lot of great things happening! This year we will be 100% affiliated with USA Hockey. This will provide our youth with coaches who have been trained and certified as a USA Hockey Coach. Anyone who is planning or interested in coaching must have the proper level of certification in order to be on the ice or the bench. Attached is a document with the currently scheduled certification classes being held in Colorado. For more information, or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at any time, or visit USA Hockey's web site. Woodland Park Hockey Association needs and appreciates the participation of our members to continue to strengthen our association.

Giving Kids the Opportunity

The Woodland Park Hockey Association is striving to develop character, integrity, teamwork and above all sportsmanship. We will teach our youth the importance of respect for their coaches, teammates, opposing players and officials. The Association shall educate our membership and the public on the fundamentals and goals of amateur hockey while developing a proud and supportive hockey community.

We are looking to build a solid ice hockey program that will attract all players and put WPHA on the map. There is no reason that with the right attitude, determination and funds we cannot turn our Association and Woodland Park into a great hockey destination.

The Association is working with the City of Woodland Park, T.H.E. Coalition of Teller County and other groups to write and apply for grants for successful funding of our long-term goals. This funding is critical to further develop the current ice rink and property as well as future hockey programs.

Advertise space available on Zamboni Sides

Energy Star HOME TOOL image The zamboni is the machine used to resurface the ice before and after hockey games and other on ice activities. The zamboni attracts attention each time it appears, and since there is just one, the opportunity is extremely limited. You can take advantage of it to vividly display your company name, logo, product or service. A zamboni decal is produced using a high quality digital process. Super tough 5 mil protective coating makes these decals last the whole season. Special formulated cold temperature adhesive makes them easy to install/take off. .
